SOOOOOO yeah, I actually did this....... It was..... very fun actually! I don't usually design things cause I'm not good at it, but in the cases I get inspired, they're all kinds of fun. ^^
Alright, so in case you didn't know, Equestria Daily is having a mascot contest at the moment! That means that after four years of being one of the main brony hubs, they're finally getting their own, unique character to represent them, and represent them besides Trixie. I decided I'd give it a shot since Equestria Daily has done a lot for me in the passed, and I saw an opportunity to try my hand at something new. THUS, THIS GUY WAS BORN! I couldn't come up with a name for him to save my life, but I think he's pretty cool. I just hope he wins. ><

NOW, just for the kicks, I also gave him a bit of a bio and personality...... Hope that wasn't against the rules or something, wanted to flesh him out and make him more of an appealing character for it as well.

Personality:
This guy is as hard a working stallion as they come! He's constantly busy trying to keep everything that gets thrown at him in order and done in a timely manner. Due to his work ethic, he has permanently developed a tired and almost spacey look to him, but he loves doing his job and wouldn't wish for anything else. He's constantly zipping about as he looks for a new story to cover, and his badge proudly displays just where he works and what it is he's looking for. Rarely does he have time to hang out with friends, but those that do manage to do so will find him to be a determined and kind pony who wishes for nothing more than the best for his friends and EqD.

Sketch 1: This guy has a bit of a secret side to him, not many know this, but he secretly dyes his mane with the silvery colour of one of his most favorite ponies ever, Trixie Lulamoon. Only his closest friends know that he does this though, and everyone else just assumes this is what his mane looks like naturally.
Sketch 2: Now this is truly his deepest and darkest secret. Unbeknownst to anyone, he has made himself a secret costume in the exact likeness of Trixie's, albeit with the quality being a shoddy given the fact he's not the best at sewing. He still loves it anyway, and has great fun in dressing up in it if he has the free time and privacy to do so.
Sketch 3: As per the norm of a usual day, he has to drag home all the work he's accumulated to properly set it all up on EqD for the next day. Though usually missing out on sleep and spending time with friends, he still adores his work and is happy to provide for a community such as the one developed in EqD.

MAAAAAAAAN I dunno what I'll do with this guy if he doesn't win. Maybe if someone likes it enough I can give them the design or something. XD
 
Welp, that's it for this week! Don't mind me, just entering contests, yar har haaaaaar. Hope whoever gets picked as the mascot is one that everyone can love. I've heard tellings I'm already out of the runnings cause I designed a stallion for a mascot, but I can still hope and dream I guess. Seeya all next week!
